how it works

STEP INTO THE CRYOSAUNA FOR A UNIQUE RECOVERY EXPERIENCE
Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) exposes your body to extremely low temperatures (-240 degrees Fahrenheit and lower) for 2 to 3 minutes. This induces a survival response and triggers relief and recovery by:
  • Causing blood to drain from your limbs and concentrate in your core and brain (“vasoconstriction”). This reduces overall lactic acid and inflammation buildup.
  • Releasing feel-good endorphins as the body’s “fight or flight” response kicks in.
Warming up after the session induces “vasodilation” which causes oxygenated red blood cells to flood back into your limbs leaving them feeling refreshed.

your SESSION

Your session starts with your Cryo supervisor in our private Cryo room. You will be provided with fresh dry socks, slippers, gloves, a robe and left to change. You will need to remove all accessories such as watches, jewelry and exposed body piercings located below your ears. When you are ready, your Cryo supervisor will return to the room and discuss the duration and mechanics of the session.
Your session begins with gasiform ultra-cold nitrogen released periodically into the Cryosauna. You may not hear anything but don’t worry, you’ll see the ultracold Nitrogen gas and feel the temperature dropping! Your supervisor will ask you to turn throughout the session to ensure even cooling of your skin. Skin temperature should drop to 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit and will recover within 1 to 2 minutes of stepping out of the Cryosauna.
